Ameris Bank Breaks Ground for New Location in Jacksonville, Florida

Jacksonville, FL, Ameris Bank, a full-service financial institution, recently broke ground for the construction of their newest location in Jacksonville, Florida. Currently serving Jacksonville customers from a suite at 8705 Perimeter Park Blvd as well as two locations in Orange Park; a new, additional office will be located on Lane Avenue. The addition of this office will better service customers in the Duval County community.
"Our customer base has seen tremendous growth in the last year," said Tim O'Keefe, President for Ameris Bank. "We believe that adding another location to the Jacksonville area will add convenience for our customers and bring in others from the area."
Construction on the Lane Avenue office is set to be complete in the summer of 2008, and the office is tentatively scheduled to open for business sometime in June. In addition to overseeing both locations in Jacksonville, Tim O'Keefe will continue to oversee Ameris Bank locations in the Orange Park area. Kimberlee Kirkland, Assistant Vice President and Branch Manager will transfer to the new Lane Avenue office once it has opened.
